Disaster Financial Assistance for Residents of Prince Edward Island Affected by Hurrican Juan

The high winds and rain brought on by Hurricane Juan on September 29, 2003, may have caused damage to your home and property.

If you have experienced damage to your home or property you should:

1. Document the damage (i.e. take photos of damages to home, property, or any lost or spoiled items due to damage or power outages etc.)

2. Contact your insurance company to determine if any of the damages or loss incurred are covered under your homeowners insurance policy.

You may also be eligible for assistance under the Disaster Financial Assistance Arrangements program. Assessments of damages are now taking place.
