Nominations for the municipal elections begin on Monday, September 27, 2010, and will close on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. within the four major municipalities of Charlottetown, Summerside, Stratford and Cornwall. Nominations are open for the following positions: Charlottetown, mayor and ten councillors; Summerside, mayor and eight councillors; Stratford, mayor and six councillors; and Cornwall, mayor and six councillors.
The list of nominated candidates will be posted on the Elections P.E.I. homepage on Friday evening (October 8, 2010) as soon as the information is completed. The Elections P.E.I. website is: www.electionspei.ca
