Contest Winner To Enjoy "Live Like A Millionaire" 1998 Prize

Krista Cochrane of Hampton, New Brunswick was thrilled by the news that she will be living like a millionaire for five days in Prince Edward Island this July 26 to 30.

Cochrane is the winner of The Island Has Never Been Closer contest, sponsored by Cavendish Resort Area, Cavendish Farms, and Tourism PEI. More than 4,000 people entered the contest by calling the toll-free visitor information line at 1-888-PEI-PLAY.

"I was very surprised when I received the call," said Cochrane. "This is the first time I have ever won a trip in my life. This is a great way to welcome us to Prince Edward Island."

The prize includes five days, four nights accommodations for four people in a VIP cottage in the Cavendish Resort Area; fully stocked fridge; admission to major attractions of the Cavendish Resort Area and PEI National Park; limousine drive to and from a free gourmet meal in the Lucy Maud Montgomery Dining Room at the Culinary Institute of Canada; and a free sunset cruise of New London Bay by Island Para-Sail at The Pier followed by free mussels on deck.
