October 1, 1996 * Health and Social Services [to Nov 2005]After consultation with the new West Prince Health Board, the Minister of Health and Social Services, Honourable Walter McEwen, has agreed to extend Kenneth Ezeard's duties as Chief Executive Officer for the West Prince Health Authority until September 30, 1997. Mr. Ezeard has accepted the one year extension to his duties in West Prince. "We're very pleased that Mr. Ezeard will continue to act on behalf of the health system and the people of West Prince," says West Prince Health Board Chair Cletus Dunn. "Mr. Ezeard has been instrumental in helping to move the health system forward in this area, and his agreement to stay on for another year is greatly appreciated." Mr. Ezeard first took on the Chief Executive Officer duties in the Region on June 3, 1996. From 1978 to 1993, Mr. Ezeard was Executive Director of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
