Brookvale Provincial Ski Park Offers Special Rates as Part of Islander Day

Brookvale Provincial Ski Park is offering special rates to encourage Islanders to get out and enjoy Islander Day with family says Minister of Tourism and Culture Robert Vessey.

“Spending the day at Brookvale with friends and family on Islander Day is a great idea,” said Minister Vessey. “The winter season is not very long so it’s a great opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy some fun winter activities.”

In celebration of Islander Day, on Monday, February 15, 2010, Brookvale Provincial Ski Park will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Park will offer special rates, including: Alpine lift – $6 plus tax; Alpine Ski rentals – $6 plus tax; Snowboard Rental – $11 plus tax; Nordic site – $5 plus tax; and Nordic ski rentals – $5 plus tax.
