December 12, 1997 * Economic Development [to Jul 1998]Islanders should get set to wax up those skiis today. Brookvale Provincial Ski Park will be open this Saturday and Sunday to downhill and cross-country skiers, as well as snowboarders. Although the park doesn't open full time until Saturday, December 20, park officials decided to open for one additional weekend, due to good snow conditions. The hours of operation for this weekend will be from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Mill River will also be opening up their trails next Saturday, December 20. Media Contact: Ann Stanley
