The PEI Alpine Association and PEI Provincial Parks will be co-sponsoring the Annual Snowshow and Ski Swap and Fall Festival this year at Brookvale Winter Activity Ski Park on Saturday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Ski Swap and Snowshow will take place from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with drop off of sale items between 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. Admission to the show is $1.00

The chairlift and wagon rides will be available from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for rides to the top of the park so people can view the spectacular color of the leaves. A nominal fee of $1.00 per person per ride provides proceeds to the PEI Lung Association.

The day brings musical entertainment by Michael Pendergast and Friends and various activities for the kids. Food will also be available all day, with the proceeds going to the Brookvale Ski Parol.

"We have collaborated in this event to bring everyone together to prepare for the upcoming snow season, getting great deals on skis and snowboards," noted Minister of Tourism Jeffrey Lantz. "It is a beautiful time of year in the Brookvale area, and we thought we should enjoy the scenery of the fall while preparing for the winter. It's a great time for families to get out and enjoy the changing colors and great deals."

Season lift passes will also be available on Saturday with an early bird special of $175 for adults and $150 for students. This special will run for two (2) weeks starting on Saturday October 26 and ending on Saturday November 9. You can purchase your season's pass at Brookvale Ski Park or at Sporting Intentions in Charlottetown.
