July 4, 2005 * Tourism [to Jan 2010]Jacki Lewis of Toronto, Ontario, is on Prince Edward Island to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer services and honour a dear friend, the late Dr. Betty Hall who passed away June 10, 2002. Ms. Lewis is kayaking off the shores of Prince Edward Island this summer and has purchased a special pink kayak for the journey. Ms. Lewis and Dr. Hall became friends through a mutual friend many years ago and Ms. Lewis has vacationed on Prince Edward Island for the last 15 years. Her efforts will be supported through Tourism PEI, Hambly’s Home Furnishings and Marco Polo Campground.
