Books of Condolence for the Queen Mother

Premier's Office
Premier Pat Binns announced that the provincial government, in cooperation with Heritage Canada, will be placing books of condolence in the Access PEI sites in Souris, Montague, Summerside and O'Leary to provide as many Islanders as possible the opportunity to participate in sending condolences to the Royal Family on the death of the Queen Mother.

The books will be available from 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 4 until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9. They will then be forwarded by the provincial government to the local Heritage Canada office to be shipped via Ottawa to Buckingham Palace. Members of the public in the Charlottetown area can convey their sympathies by signing a book placed at the Veterans Affairs Canada Headquarters on Grafton Street.
