July 13, 2005 Premier's OfficeIslanders and visitors wishing to express their sympathies to the victims and families of the London bombings now have an opportunity to do so. “This terrible event has touched many, many people and the book of condolences will give an opportunity for Islanders and visitors alike to express their thoughts and feelings to the people of London during this difficult time,” said Premier Binns. A book of condolences will be hosted at Charlottetown City Hall, beginning today at noon. The book of condolences will be available at Charlottetown City Hall daily during office hours for the next week. “Time and again throughout history the people of London have faced adversity with courage and dignity. Signing the book of condolences will let people show their admiration for the resolve of Londoners,” said Charlottetown Mayor Clifford Lee.
