Beverage Container Depot to Open in Bloomfield

The Department of Environment, Energy and Forestry announced today the establishment of a new Beverage Container Depot in Bloomfield.

Darryl and Ruby Pitre, operators of Bertha’s Bottle Exchange in Tignish, have established the depot in the Bloomfield Mall, 2238 O’Halloran Road. It will be called Bertha’s Bottle Exchange and will be opening Saturday, May 31. It will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The opening of the Bloomfield Beverage Container Depot brings the total number of depots across the province to 11.
