Atlantic Canadian Environmental Firms Shine at GLOBE 2016

To help forge new partnerships in the environmental sector, a delegation of six Atlantic Canadian companies will be attending the GLOBE 2016 conference and innovation expo in Vancouver, British Columbia from March 2nd to 4th, thanks in part to support from the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provinces.

Participating companies include Naveco Power and Therma-Ray from New Brunswick, LED Roadway Lighting Ltd. from Nova Scotia, and three companies based in Newfoundland and Labrador - Oil Filtration Solutions Ltd., EnviroBlu Solutions Inc., and Sub-C Imaging. These companies will meet with potential business partners from around the world with the goal of creating new partnerships to help further innovation and increase their export sales.

· The GLOBE 2016 conference and expo is one of North America's most influential environmental business and energy gatherings. It brings together sector leaders to discuss current trends and explore innovative business solutions for the most challenging environmental and social issues.

· A federal-provincial contribution of up to $91,000 through the International Business Development Agreement (IBDA) will enable Atlantic Canadian companies to participate in targeted business-to-business meetings, gain access to high-visibility booth space, and receive on-site logistical and marketing support.
