Acting Deputy Attorney General Appointed

Premier Pat Binns today advised that Edison Shea has been appointed Acting Deputy Attorney General. Shea is a senior director in the Department of Attorney General, most recently holding the position of Director of Consumer, Corporate and Insurance Services.

Shea replaces Patsy Maclean who has left the public service to accept a position in the private sector.

“I wish to thank Patsy for her service to Islanders over the past number of years. She has served very capably in a number of positions in the civil service and health sector and I wish her well as she embarks on new opportunities in the private sector,” said the Premier.
