3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefits community

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) is pleased to announce that its 3rd Annual PEILCC and Friends Charity Golf Tournament raised over $13,000 in support of two local charities.

“We are proud to assist community organizations who benefit many Islanders in different ways,” noted Honourable Robert Henderson, minister responsible for the Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission. “KidSport is happy to receive these funds and will use them to help ensure that Island children will have the opportunity to participate in sports,” noted Nick Murray, communications officer for Sport PEI.

The Easter Seals Society of PEI is the other beneficiary of this annual event and will use the funds it received to continue projects that support people living with disabilities on Prince Edward Island.
