2013 Celebrate PEI Agriculture and Forestry photo contest

* Agriculture and Forestry [to May 2015]
Prince Edward Island is remarkably striking this time of year. The gently sloping hillsides are a colourful delight with freshly cut forage, newly planted cereal crops, and blueberry fields in blossom. Cattle graze on sunny hillsides, while foxes wander through grassy pastures. Celebrate the beauty of our province by capturing these memories with a photo to be enjoyed for years to come.

The Celebrate PEI Agriculture and Forestry Photo Contest has eight categories:

1. Farmscapes ~ PEI’s agricultural landscapes forming scenic vistas

2. Animals of Agriculture ~ Wooly, furry, feathered or fluffy

3. Farmers at Work ~ Capture the character of the people who drive the industry

4. PEI’s Future Farmers ~ Youth showing a passion for farming and food production

5. Fresh from the Farm ~ Show off your culinary talents with raw or prepared PEI food

6. New Perspective ~ A unique glimpse of agriculture from a different point of view

7. As Youth See It ~ Entries from photographers who are 18 years old or younger

8. The Wild Side ~ Wildlife in their natural environment

Finalists will be showcased at the Celebrate PEI Agriculture and Forestry display

at Old Home Week 2013. The People’s Choice Award will be selected by popular vote from the category winners during Old Home Week 2013 at the Celebrate PEI Agriculture and Forestry display.
