Visitors planning a trip to Prince Edward Island can now receive a copy of the new 2012 Visitor’s Guide showcasing the Island’s world-class tourism experiences, says Tourism and Culture Minister Robert Henderson.
“The completion of the visitor’s guide is a definite sign that planning for this year’s tourism season is well underway,” said the minister. “The Visitor’s Guide captures the many experiences and activities enjoyed by Islanders and visitors alike.”
The 2012 guide invites travellers to discover experiences they’ll enjoy only in Prince Edward Island. The guide showcases Prince Edward Island’s cultural offerings, culinary delights, premier golf courses, and stunning beaches.
Visitors will receive a copy of the guide when they request a vacation planning package, which also includes an Island highway map, the Island Vacation packages booklet and other information specific to their request. It can be ordered through the Tourism PEI website and toll-free number.
Copies of the guide will also be distributed through Island Visitor Information and Destination Centres, as well as through the Tourism PEI website and toll-free number. The guide is available in French and English and can also be accessed online.
