Health PEI’s public health nursing will be offering walk-in flu shot clinics for the public in Charlottetown on November 4, 7, and 8 and in Summerside on November 8.
Islanders wanting to get the flu shot without making an appointment can do so by going to one of the following clinics:
November 4
Charlottetown - St. Peter’s Cathedral, Corner of All Souls' Lane and Rochford Street
9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
November 7 and 8
Charlottetown - Jack Blanchard Centre, 7 Pond Street
9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
November 8
Summerside - Public Health Office, 205 Linden Avenue
10 a.m. 4 p.m.
The flu vaccine is free for seniors age 65 and over, children aged 6 - 59 months, pregnant women, those living in a household with a pregnant woman, and those who identify as Aboriginal. A $7 administration fee will be charged to all others who wish to get the flu shot.
Health PEI reminds Islanders that additional flu shot clinics continue to operate by appointment in locations across the province. Call 1-855-354-4358 (4FLU) to book an appointment.
