May 21, 2014 The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) has relocated its corporate retail outlet to 2 Royal Avenue in the O’Leary Farmers Co-op Association building. The new store offers a more central location with increased opportunity for traffic and visibility in the town.“The renovations for this location were planned to improve the customer experience through modern displays and refrigerated retail space,” noted Hon. Robert Henderson, minister responsible for the PEI Liquor Control Commission. “Updating PEILCC corporate retail outlets in this way ensures a wider range of products are available to help meet customer demand and, in turn, increase transfers to government.”The display space available in O’Leary’s new PEILCC corporate retail outlet makes it possible to increase products offerings by 30%, including a walk-in refrigerated retail area.
