French Language School Board Trustee elections will be held on May 26

Nominations for French Language School Board trustees were submitted, and as a result, four of the electoral zone trustees have been elected by acclamation.

There will be elections on May 26th in the two remaining electoral zones: Summerside area (Zone 3) and on the North Shore (Zone 4).

“In Zone 1, the Evangeline Region, two of the three positions have been filled by acclamation while the third position will be filled by a government appointment,” states Gary McLeod, Chief Electoral Officer. “The zones in West Prince (Zone 2), Queens County and Eastern PEI (Zone 5) along with the Souris area (Zone 6) have also been filled by acclamation.”

Polls for the Summerside area (Zone 3) will be at École-sur-Mer – Centre Belle-Alliance at 5 Maris Stella Ave, Summerside, on May 26th from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Polls for the North Shore (Zone 4) will be at École Saint-Augustin – 2184 Church Road in South Rustico, on May 26th from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
