Statement from Premier Robert Ghiz on the passing of Angèle Arsenault

Premier Robert Ghiz issued the following statement on the passing of Angèle Arsenault:

Islanders were saddened to learn of the passing of Island born singer, songwriter and actress Angèle Arsenault yesterday in Quebec.

Angèle was an incredible talent that left an indelible mark on Prince Edward Island, and especially on the Island’s Acadian and Francophone community.

On behalf of the Government of Prince Edward Island, I express my deepest sympathies to Angèle’s family and friends.
