A Petition for Judicial Recount and the Affidavit of the Petitioner was filed with the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court, Honourable John Douglas, on Thursday, October 13, 2011 requesting a recount of all the ballots cast in the electoral district of Belfast-Murray River, being Electoral District 4, during the October 3, 2011 Provincial General Election.
The recount was held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in Charlottetown.
