August 31, 2011 The public is advised that beginning Thursday, September 1 through the end of October, roadway paving and upgrading will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital that may result in minor delays in traffic and pedestrian flow to the main entrance of the hospital and PEI Cancer Treatment Centre. This road work is part of ongoing site construction of the new Ambulatory Care Centre. Traffic controllers, signs and directional markers will be in place to ensure minimal disruption of traffic and pedestrian flow into and out of the hospital. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital staff and administration would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding as they continue to improve the provision of health care services for all Islanders.Media Contact: Amanda Hamel
