Petroleum Pricing

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010:

Gasoline prices will increase by 1.0 cent per litre (cpl);

Furnace and stove oil prices will increase by 1.0 cpl; and

There will be no change in diesel or propane prices at this time.

Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 102.9 cpl to 105.0 cpl.

Gradual increases in the wholesale market prices of gasoline and furnace oil products over the past number of weeks necessitate the price increases announced today.

The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on May 1, 2010.
