Quickstart Global Opens New Client Centre in Prince Edward Island

A business process management company is establishing a centre in Prince Edward Island to act as a gateway for international companies expanding to North America.

Quickstart Global offers a service called In-House Anywhere™. This program presents a stable, neutral foundation for clients to set up and operate on around the world. The company will provide local office space, infrastructure and communications technology, as well as human resources and legal services for international clients.

Hon. Allan Campbell, Minister of Innovation and Advanced Learning, welcomes the announcement.

“The Government of Prince Edward Island is committed to advancing economic development across the province,” said Minister Campbell, the Minister responsible for Innovation PEI. “We are actively seeking out new opportunities to strengthen our economy and create jobs. I am pleased to welcome Quickstart Global to our province and we’re thrilled the company has chosen Prince Edward Island as its Atlantic Canadian headquarters. We believe the centre will lead to new business and employment opportunities for Islanders.”

The chairman of Quickstart Global, Kaushal Chokshi, said Prince Edward Island’s location is especially suitable for companies in need of a convenient time zone in the North American market.

“We are very excited about the opening of the PEI client center and the formation of Quickstart Global PEI,” said Mr. Chokshi. “This center adds an important piece to our global footprint. PEI is ideally located between San Francisco and London and offers a very attractive time zone advantage. We believe the proximity to the North American market will also provide a unique advantage to international companies. PEI offers beautiful landscaping and an excellent quality of life which will be very attractive to the global talent pool.”

Quickstart Global PEI will initially focus on emerging industries such as software and video game development along with e-health and business services. These growth industries are outlined in the Government of Prince Edward Island’s innovation and economic development strategy, Island Prosperity: A Focus For Change.

Quickstart Global has operations in San Francisco, London, Bulgaria, India, South Africa, Singapore and now Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
