Prince Edward Island cattle exhibitors dominated many of the top awards at the Maritime Fall Fair in Halifax. There was considerable doubt earlier this year that there would even be a livestock show at the fair this year. Through the lobbying efforts of some determined people, the show did proceed. There was no doubt the Island exhibitors are willing to support the show as they came out to exhibit in all cattle breeds.
The open beef show was judged by Norman Little of Ireland. Mr. Little is an Angus breeder who was judging in Canada for the first time.
