March 12, 1998 The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced today that approval has been granted to Shell Canada Products Limited to reduce by 0.5 cent per litre the prices of all grades of gasoline and low sulphur diesel sold under its dealer tank truck pricing schedule. The Commission also approved an application by Irving Oil Limited for a reduction of 1.9 cents per litre in the price of its low sulphur diesel to dealers and a reduction of 0.6 cent per litre in the posted consumer prices of both grades of diesel fuel. Market conditions was given as the reason for these requested reductions.
