License Suspended For The Dutch Inn

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the dining room operation known as “The Dutch Inn,” license number RL-83-0040, located in North River, for the following period of time, that is:

for a period of one (1) day for violation of Section 70.(a) of the Liquor Control Act Regulations said suspension to be served commencing 11 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 up to and including 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2009.

The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that a violation of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following section:

Section 70. (a) of the Liquor Control Act Regulations

“A licensee shall not permit any liquor to be taken from or into his licensed premises otherwise than is permitted by the Act and these regulations.”

This suspension affects the operation of the lounge at The Dutch Inn which will not be permitted to observe its normal hours of operation during this period.
