Effective Monday, June 29, and until further notice, Route 26, the Old Georgetown Road in Stratford, from the Trans Canada Highway to the Keppoch Road, will be closed to through traffic. The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. The closure is necessary to allow the Department of Transportation and Public Works and the Town of Stratford to conduct sewer, water and road work in the area. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete.
