Tickets for the Sixth Annual Export "A" Skins Game, to be held at the Links at Crowbush Cove, Prince Edward Island from July 26-28,1998 sold out in less than one hour. Tickets for the Pro-Am event on Sunday, July 26, 1998, are still available and can be purchased by telephone through TicketMaster at 1-888-222-6608 or via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.ca. Tickets for the Celebrity Pro-Am are $20 each.
"We're thrilled that golf fans have embraced the event so eagerly," said Stan Smith, President of Export "A" Inc. "We know there are people who are disappointed that they were not able to purchase a ticket but the event is such that we cannot allow more than 5,000 people on the course."
The Export "A" Skins Game features defending champion Greg Norman competing against three-time winner Fred Couples, and newcomers Phil Mickelson and Mike Weir.
The event will be televised nationally on CBC Sports. It will broadcast in Quebec on RDS.
