December 10, 1997 * Economic Development [to Jul 1998]The announcement yesterday that the sixth annual Export "A" Skins Game, featuring Greg Norman and Fred Couples, will be played at The Links at Crowbush Cove from July 26 to July 28, 1998, has really created a buzz around PEI and across the region. Islanders have been showing their enthusiasm about the big event by requesting information on where to volunteer and how to purchase tickets. This excitement bodes well for attendance at the $360,000 golf exhibition. An announcement regarding where and when tickets can be purchased will be made in the New Year. Tickets cannot be reserved in advance. Islanders who wish to volunteer at the event can watch for a call for volunteers in late January or early February.
