The Department of Health and Social Services wishes to advise its clients that monthly Social Assistance Cheques issued on December 1 will be available as indicated below. The cheques may be picked up at the designated centres between 10:00 am and 4:00 p.m. Individuals are reminded that two pieces of identification, including one with a photograph, will be required to pick up cheques. If the Postal Strike ends before December 1, the cheques will be mailed.
