August 10, 2006 The P.E.I. Liquor Control Commission is pleased to announce that its West Royalty Liquor Store in the West Royalty Power Centre (next to Sears) will open its doors for business tomorrow, Friday, August 11, 2006 at 9 a.m. The newly constructed store features cold beer, wine & spirit coolers, an increased selection in spirits and fine wines from around the world, and a truly better shopping environment for our customers. The relocation and construction of this new facility is part of the Commission’s strategic plan to renovate all its facilities across Prince Edward Island, and is part and parcel of the Commission’s mandate to manage the distribution of beverage alcohol in a manner that meets the needs of the consumer and provides suppliers with controlled access to the marketplace in a fair and reasonable basis.
