The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the licensed premise known as “Dooly’s University Avenue,” license number SL960023, located in Charlottetown, for the following period of time, that is:
for a period of three (3) days for Violation of Section 70(a) and for a period of three (3) days for Violation of Section 70(j) said suspensions to be served concurrently for a total cumulative suspension of three (3) days commencing 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 8th, 2006 up to and including 2:00 a.m., Thursday, May 11th, 2006.
Adjudicator Alfred K. Fraser, Q.C., confirmed the sanction imposed by the Liquor Control Commission and was satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations took place under the following sections:
Liquor Control Act Regulations - Section 70(a)
“ A licensee shall not permit any liquor to be taken from or into his licensed premises otherwise than is permitted by the Act and these regulations.”
and
Liquor Control Act Regulations - Section 70(j)
“A Licensee shall not sell or supply any liquor on his licensed premises to or for any person who is apparently in an intoxicated condition.”
