Premier Binns Comments on Dr. Hamm's Retirement

Premier Pat Binns issued the following statement in reaction to Nova Scotia Premier John Hamm's decision to retire:

"Premier Hamm has been an effective champion for the people of Nova Scotia and a sincere advocate for a strong and united Canada. John always brought a very reasoned perspective to important public policy discussions and earned the respect of other Premiers, including me.

On behalf of Carol, I want to wish John and his wife Genesta every best wish as they prepare to begin a new chapter."
