Binns and Provincial Cabinet Meet in Park Corner - Oyster Bed

The Binns Cabinet continued its summer tour and consultations with community leaders today. The provincial officials are at the New London Community Complex this morning to conduct regular Cabinet business and to meet with the North Rustico Community Council and the New London Community Complex Group.

Area MLA, Beth MacKenzie, was instrumental in organizing the day's activities and agenda and will join cabinet for its meetings with community groups.

The Premier says that regular meetings with community leaders provide valuable input into government decisions and policy.

“These meetings give the Cabinet and community representatives an opportunity to share information and talk about how to meet mutual objectives on behalf of residents in the area,” said the Premier.
