Plant Diagnostic Service Closing For Season

* Agriculture, Fisheries & Aquaculture [to Jun 2007]
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture’s plant disease diagnostic laboratory will be receiving samples until November 5, after which time it will be closed for the season.

Clients are asked to submit questionable samples directly to their local Access PEI office or to the Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory located at the Potato Services building in Kensington.

This service is available for all farmers and agri-business representatives. Early detection of a disease problem in storage, when coupled with appropriate management procedures, could save your harvest. There is no cost for the service.
