Consul General Of Israel Visits The Island

The Consul General of Israel will visit Prince Edward Island from July 29 - 31 to discuss business opportunities related to the Middle East. Daniel Gal will meet with government, business and community representatives during his visit.

On Tuesday, July 30, Mr. Gal will speak to the Summerside Rotary breakfast meeting at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club during which he will discuss the potential for increased trade ties between Canada and Israel. Also on Tuesday, Mr. Gal will meet with the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce and members of the Prince Edward Island Exporters Club.

Mr. Gal has been Consul General since 1994. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Gal served in a number of posts related to foreign affairs, in Israel as well as various other locations around the world.
