Ginger Breedon Appointed Health Agency CEO

Ginger Breedon, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Health and Community Services Agency.

The announcement was made jointly today by Health and Social Services Minister Mildred Dover and Agency Board Chair Dr. Don Ling.

Mr. Breedon will replace Jeanette MacAulay who has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of the PEI Staffing and Classification Board.

Dr. Ling expressed thanks to Ms. MacAulay on behalf of the Board for the dedicated leadership and counsel she provided the Board during her two years as CEO.

The Health and Community Services Agency is responsible for planning and coordinating provincial Health and Community services and allocating funds to the Regional Health Authorities. Mr. Breedon's appointment is effective immediately.
