Business Growth Expert Doug Hall To Teach PEI Business Owners How To Increase Their Odds Of Success

Doug Hall, founder and CEO of the Richard Saunders International Eureka! Ranch in Newton, Ohio, will present a two-hour training session at the Jubilee Theatre in Summerside on Wednesday, November 28. No stranger to the province, Islanders may best recognize Hall from his generous contributions to the College of Piping, as well as his pilot project work with local companies. Hall teaches a set of scientific laws that have been proven to allow an increase in sales from 10 to 15 percent without spending more money

After graduating from the University of Maine, Hall worked with Procter & Gamble in brand management where he rose to the rank of Master Marketing Inventor. He has spent the last 11 years helping companies such as Disney, Nike, American Express and Ford Motor Company create ideas for products and services. Research indicates that the average American home uses 18 products or services in which the Eureka! Ranch has had a hand.

Hall's new book "Jump Start Your Business Brain" aims to help businesses "win more, lose less and make more money." The title of Hall's Summerside presentation is "Jump Start Your Business Brain in PEI" and will highlight the scientific principle and practical tactics that will grow Prince Edward Island business.

"My goal is to help every small business owner on the Island, who wants to grow, to do just that," said Hall. "I've had tremendous success with Island business over the past two years and look forward to bringing this message of hope to anyone who is willing to take action and control their own business destiny."

During the training session Hall, who has been featured twice on CBC's Venture program, will directly relate stories of business success he's experienced with Island companies.

The event is being sponsored by Doug Hall, in conjunction with Prince Edward Island Business Development. The provincial government development agency has worked with Hall in the past and is pleased that Hall continues to share his expertise with Island businesses.

"There are so many Island companies that are constantly striving to improve and expand their business, which is to the benefit of the entire provincial economy," said the Honourable Mike Currie, Minister of Development and Technology. "There is a real value to what Mr. Hall is offering and I expect a lot of people will take advantage of this rare opportunity to learn from the man who has helped some of the world's leading companies."

"Jump Start Your Business Brain in PEI" is open to all Island businesses, associations, entrepreneurs and individuals interested in Hall's insightful marketing concepts. The admission price is $50 per seat with all proceeds going to the College of Piping. A hardcover copy of Hall's book will be given out with each paid admission. Tickets are on sale at the Jubilee Theatre and the College of Piping. Tickets can also be purchased at PEI Business Development's office at 94 Euston Street in Charlottetown.
