Suspension of Lounge License

The Prince Edward Island Liquor Control Commission has suspended the lounge operation known as "Dakota's Lounge," License #LL99-0079 located at 178 Queen Street, Charlottetown, PEI, for violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations and Policy on three different occasions. These suspensions are for a 7-day period and two 21-day periods to be served concurrently over a twenty-one (21) day period commencing 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2000, up to and including 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2000. As well, the Commission also suspended Dakota's privilege to feature exotic dancing entertainment for a one-year period.

The Liquor Control Commission is satisfied that violations of the Liquor Control Act Regulations and Policy took place under the following sections:

- Section 70(i) of the Regulations and Page 2.2 and 2.2a, "Entertainment-Exotic Dancers," of Commission Policy.

This Sanction has been agreed to by the Adjudicator, Ms Lisa Goulden.
