Premier Pat Binns announced today that two newly elected MLA's will be moving and seconding the reply to the Speech from the Throne.
The MLA for St. Eleanor's - Summerside, Helen MacDonald, will move the reply to the Speech from the Throne.
The reply will be seconded by Cletus Dunn, the MLA for Alberton - Miminegash.
The Throne speech, officially opening the 1st session of the 61st General Assembly of the Province of Prince Edward Island, will be delivered by Lieutenant Governor, Gilbert R. Clements, on Thursday, May 11, at 3:00 pm.
MLA's will be sworn in at 1:00 pm. (MLA's subject to recount proceedings will not be sworn in until recounts are official)
The Members will meet at 2:00 pm to elect the Speaker.
