Rotary Regional Library Celebrates Renovations

* Education [to Apr 2008]
The Rotary Regional Library is hosting an open house on Friday October 15, at 2 pm, 192 Water St., Summerside, to celebrate the recent renovations made to the library.

The Honorable Chester Gillan, Minister of Education, local dignitaries and special guests will take part in the celebrations, and the public is welcome to come out to see the newly renovated library.

During the celebrations, volunteer recognition awards will be presented. These awards are presented annually to members of the community who have volunteered numerous hours at the library.

The library was closed for a two-week period in August to undergo a significant make-over. During the renovation period, walls were freshly painted, carpets were replaced, furniture was rearranged, and two new computers were added to the library, one that is for the use of children, 12 years of age and under.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
