Robert Morrison, Returning Officer for the Prince Edward Island Marketing Council, reported that directors to the Prince Edward Island Potato Board have been elected by acclamation.
Owen Ching, Souris has been elected to represent the eastern district, table stock position; Vernon Campbell, Kensington has been elected to represent the central district, processing position; and Layton Wallace, O'Leary has been elected to represent the western district, seed position.
The Prince Edward Island Potato Board consists of nine members, three from each district consisting of one seed producer, one table stock producer and one processing producer. Members are elected to three-year terms with the positions being staggered with respect to region and sector representation.
