Islanders can provide their feedback on the upcoming provincial budget through this Friday, February 19, Finance Minister Allen Roach says.
“We’ve received some great online feedback so far and turnout at the public consultation sessions has exceeded expectations,” the minister said. “This has shown us that Islanders are engaged in the budget process and interested in our efforts to return the budget to balance in 2016-17.”
Public consultation sessions were held in O’Leary on January 21, in Charlottetown on January 28, and in Montague on February 11. The final session will be this Thursday, February 18, in Summerside from 2 to 4 p.m. (French interpretation services will be available).

Government will deliver its 2016-17 budget to the Legislative Assembly in April.
