Primary care cancelling appointments in West Prince for this afternoon

Due to inclement weather and challenging road conditions, primary care has cancelled all patient appointments scheduled for the O’Leary, Tyne Valley and Alberton Health Centres.

All cancelled patient appointments will be rescheduled.

Islanders are reminded to please call ahead to reconfirm their appointment or to let staff know if they are unable to make their appointment. Islanders are also reminded to call 8-1-1 for non-urgent health care advice or 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.

Health PEI will continue to update the public as decisions are made to delay or cancel additional health care services.
