Public consultations to be held on child-related leave

Prince Edward Island is accepting public comment on proposed workplace legislation relating to leave for the critical illness, death, or disappearance of a child.

The provincial legislation would reflect similar changes made by the Government of Canada, which would provide criteria for Employment Insurance (EI) eligibility in these cases.
