Nurses have a tremendous positive impact on the lives of Islanders and it is a pleasure to recognize them during National Nurses Week, says Health and Wellness Minister Doug Currie.
“Over the years I’ve had the privilege as the Minister of Health to see first-hand the exemplary work that nurses do across our province each and every day,” said the minister. “I know I speak for all Islanders when I extend sincere thanks to our nurses for the terrific care and comfort they provide patients and residents every day.”
National Nurses Week, May 11-17, is an opportunity to celebrate the dedication of Island nurses and the valuable work they do. A number of events were held across the province.
