Heart and Stroke Foundation benefits from PEI Liquor Control Commission’s efforts

The PEI Liquor Control Commission (PEILCC) generated $9,468 in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation during its 4th annual Paper Hearts campaign. PEILCC customers were prompted to purchase paper hearts in support of the work of the foundation during this annual February event.

“The total donations generated to date has surpassed $30,000 over the four years of this campaign,” noted Robert Henderson, minister responsible for the PEILCC. “Thank you to our staff and customers who are integral to the continued success of this initiative.”

“All funds raised through this campaign help make it possible for the Heart and Stroke Foundation to provide Islanders with programs and tools to live longer fuller lives,” explained Charlotte Comrie, CEO, Heart and Stroke Foundation in PEI. “Relationships with our corporate partners and their customers are key to the fulfillment of our mission of creating more survivors in PEI.”
